Although Bowie and Three Dog Night did this song...it was written and performed by the late great Ron Davies...do yourself a favor and listen to his great version which was a legendary Leon Russell session...he produced and played piano.

For some strange reason, this song has been haunting me lately. I haven't heard it since I lived in Salem MA (in the late '90's), so went browsing for it on Youtube. To my suprise, I discovered this version!! AND THIS DUDE TOTALLY OWNS THIS SONG! His singing is perfectly phrased, and he almost reminds me of Lindsay from Fltwd Mac. Who knew that such an organic folk-blues-rock vibe existed in the music industry today? Thank you so much for posting this! It made my day!
