Ons Neerland heeft een Koningskind. (A child of Royal blood is born !)
( Lyrics : Ferry van Delden - Music : Kovacs Lajos)

Willy Derby, vocal
with Otto Dobrindt and his Orchestra.
Parlophon B 73014-1 149156.

When Beatrix - todays Queen of the Netherlands - was born on 31 january 1938, the whole country was celebrating her birth.
Many souvenirs of remembrance were sold and even a special song was composed and performed by Willy Derby who was one of the most popular Dutch singers of that time.
The Parlophon record company made a special designed label using the Dutch national colours to honour Beatrix her birth.
This song is recorded in Berlin in 1937 and was sold immediately after her birth in 1938.
