  • lol. i think the piracy had not revived yet at the time the law was introduced. nobody even considered the possibility of piracy.

  • well i can only conclude that the lawmakers want them ships to be robbed.

  • they are not wasted, anyway. just some practice for seamen.

  • it's against international law. maybe the law should be changed?

  • No it isn't. This doesn't tell why the pirates are hijacking these ships and taking hostages. It has to do with our Navy and I'm assuming others navies as well engaging Somalia and it also has to do with us dumping toxic waste in that part of the ocean and contaminating everything that lives in it. They are just fighting back the best way they can.
