I saw Catherine Hardwicke in this documentary called finding joe and she talks a lot about the Hero's Journey in the twilight saga. She has the same enthusiasm as she does while talking about the kiss. Findingjoethemoviedotcom

If Jackson was one of them, that creaps me out a bit. I heard her say in an interview, early on, that the other men were just full of themselves and she wasn't comfortable with any of them. What I wonder is if Kristen was Catherine's first choice? Anyone know for a fact? There had to be others. Why did Catherine pick Kristen?

@Tipswell Interesting. I've wondered who they were. No Jackson wouldn't have been right. He's like Taylor, too short for the part. Jasper is supposed to be tall and it's difficult to like Jackson in the part as Steph's description of Jasper is lionish. Jackson isn't close but once you get use to him he seems to fit Ashley well. I remember Ben now that I looked him up but he still doesn't fit Kristen somehow. Both dark and the hair needed to fit. ho hum If you remember the other?
