  • if anyone wants to see in practice a brazilian who pronounces english like that, check out Sabrina Sato Justin Bieber interview (its a humor show, thats why they used a reporter that CANT speak english to interview Bieber)

  • hmm....

Seems like I had been spelling Woodgate wrongly :P

It's pretty difficult sometimes, I have studied English for 6 years and lived in Australia for 6 months and I still have some trouble with some parts of the language, like the "oo" in Woodgate (the "d" and the "gate" is easy for me now, thankfully) the "th" in third, fourth, fifth etc, the "ed" in any past verb (though that is more of a vice).

There was one mistake an Australian roomate of mine always corrected but I can't remember it

  • every week he is in a tv show here in brasil called redaçao sportv and his portuguese accent make me laugh too

  • now... if you think english sports journalists can correctly pronounce brazilian player names...

  • Lol, infectious laughter.

  • lol, I am brazilian and Tim immitates brazilian english accent perfectly... well, of course that is only the accent of brazilians who are not very knowledgeable in english and pronounce the T and D like we do in brazilian portuguese...

  • @bicnarok heard of iplayer? its pretty easy from there.

  • @TheAxisbold yep, born in Cheshire why?

  • @bicnarok Are you a native english speaker?
