Hip Hop/Jazz Dance - Sierra College Dance Club

This is to Janet Jackson's "All Nite (Don't Stop) (So So Def Remix) feat. Elephant Man"

*READ - sierra college is a JR college with NO dance program whatsover except beginners classes in jazz and ballet. This dance was one of many in a show put together by girls on their own time in their own space. STOP BASHING already. Nowhere does it say that this is a professional college level dance. If you can dance better, good for you. Stop bashing. Comments are filtered for a reason; i have written this due to VERY many excessively rude comments.

...One of the dances from Sierra College Dance Club's "An Evening Of Dance"... Our junior college doesn't really have a dance program so we put together a club and this was our first show.... we basically all made up stuff and practiced at each other's houses or wherever we could find space and put on this show just because we all love to dance.... :) :) :)

some ppl in USA( i live there) say that only Black/african american ppl can really "dance". I'm partially "black" and grew up in a decent neighbor hood near the "ghetto" and ill say that dance doesnt matter where ur from or ur ethnicity it's ur physical epression of art and the culture that ur are around that makes the dancer! o and btw these girls arent really dancing, their really jus tryin to girate their hips and ass' w/ a few spins thrown in there. :( sorry

u guys are so mean that was beautiful what they did...maybe its not ballet or lyrical or jazz but admit it did have some technical stuff there. they can dance and YOU ALL ARE just jealous that u cant do that and have rhythym and technique

I really wouldn't say this is hip hop it looks like a jazz routine but has hip hop music. I don't know probably just me.

Anyone who has posted anything on this video that is mean or disrespectful (EX: saying they do not know how to dance, that it's no good.. ect) or ANYTHING that is not positive has NO RIGHT to call themselves a dancer. As a dancer myself, who has been in companies and taught, EVERY good teacher I ever had taught their students to NEVER judge or tear apart anyone's dancing, but to be respectful of it. I also know one of these girls and her dancing has gotten her far. This is just ONE dance of many

I really disagree for those of you who says this dance is not hip hop. You have to remember hip hop is not just about street, urban, funk, and break dance, it can be mixed with other dances, such as jazz, lyrical, modern, ballet and other dances. I think they did an excellent job. I would give them a "10" at a dance competition.
