no she wasn't. At all. Sugar is poison. i suggest you read "Sugar Blues", which is brilliant and detailed in it's assessment of what it does not only to the body, but the mind.

@helthuismartin She was one of the biggest stars of the silent era. In 1950 she starred in "Sunset Boulevard", one of the greatest movies of all times. She was nominated for an Academy Award for playing Norma Desmond in that movie. You should definitely see her in it; she is both glamorous and frightening. I don't know if you've ever heard of the line: "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." She delivered that line as Norma Desmond.
