@travellingboy1 Believe me, I have about as much respect for the Daily Mail as I do a common pedophile, however, he conducted the interview and those were his comments. I am just quoting the source albeit an awful one he said those things. The endless lies you think she gave will never stack up enough to put her at the crime scene and commit the act in which you think she committed. And you know this.
@graemeislord You now have faith in the Daily Mail. Read Amanda`s email she saw the blood which included a footprint. Door was not broken, it needed locking with a key from outside when anyone left. Amanda said she thought someone was putting rubbish out, unbelievable when she would have seen them, in her email she added they could have been running quickly to the neighbours , still unbelievable, she changed her story again at trial. but we all know Amanda and the truth
@travellingboy1 You don't seem to grasp the concept of a false statement. Do you believe they are uncommon? There is no shortage of examples. The onus is on the authorities to conduct an interrogation based on protocol and standards. This is important to gather sound and verifiable information None of these were followed and it was conducted under duress. It is inadmissible. It was outrageous for them to arrest Patrick based solely on this very distorted 'confession'.
@travellingboy1 I suggest you look up Lumumba's comments from 2007 to the Daily Mail in which he was wholly critical of the authorities. Again, you are exaggerating the blood in the bathroom which was clearly minute. Crime scene photos clearly show this. It can be denied whether she knew it was a strangers feces or not, It is a weak argument, she simply had no way of knowing, how could she? Been over the door before, latch was broken and needed to be locked to close completely
@graemeislord She clearly knew it was a strangers feces that cannot be denied, and finding your front door wide open and blood in the bathroom is very alarming. Patrick Lumumba did not blame anyone else, but its easy when you are telling the truth. The day she blamed Lumumba she went to her Italian class in the morning, they were late to the police station that evening because they were having dinner with friends, she only went to support Raffaele, but he still refuted her alibi.
@travellingboy1 Just because she said it isn't something anybody in the house would do simply doesn't mean she thought it was a strangers feces.Nowhere in that sentence does she say it was a strangers feces. Granted it was unusual by the standards of people living there but lets be honest, it is not that implausible to think somebody could have forgotten to flush the toilet. The real alarm was finding Filomena's window broken, and rightly so. That's much more cause for concern
@travellingboy1 Well that's no entirely true, Patrick Lumumba was very outspoken after his release and said the treatment he received by the authorities was appalling. They verbally and physically abused him, not to mention racially abusing him. I also don't believe it comes down to being weak or strong. She was interrogated under duress for 50 hours over the course of a week with minimal sleep in the wake of a very distressing situation, all this can't be denied.
@graemeislord I do not know why there was none of her DNA in the room, and only Rudy`s and Rafaele`s, perhaps it is true when she said she was in the kitchen and covered her ears when Meredith screamed. It is only Amanda that said her interrogation was brutal, and is doubtful in light of her other lies. Amanda showed herself to be a strong character when she was in the witness box and not a weak person who could be bullied and coerced into making false statements.
@cedric1546 Case solved! thanks for your modesty. Maybe you are feeling a little foolish now. Don't worry!
