Turn Down the Volume!
Do Not Go My Love (Hageman)

I see this song a little differently. I think the singer has died. Her love is standing at the graveside. She is not resting ease in her "sleep" but would reach out from her grave and anchor his feet to her heart. She commands him not to leave....

From my July 2006 recital. As is, One problem I have with this video is that the volume really overwhelmed the internal mic in my little digital Olympus recorder, The other regret, is that now, I do not make the terrible scoop when moving up into the high note.

  • Props to you, I did this song as a sophomore for Texas Solo and Ensemble, and let's just say I didn't have the confidence to pull off the high notes. You made it very dramatic, I love it. Good Job :]
