  • @skuflix , I think consumerism has become really sickening. Do people really think it is sane to camp outside of Best Buy during Black Friday season to get the latest game console, or cause a stampede into Walmart so that it tramples the security guard to death?? That is just sick. Now I can understand if someone has a business venture in mind, but camping outside of Best Buy, just because you've just got to have that item for yourself is quite weird to me.

  • @aaa333ify The American dream is a great idea, but how many ppl have truly achieved it? Without completely giving themselves over to the system? Probably no one, our system is corrupt, all you have to do is take a step back and see it for what it really is.

Plus I suggest watching "The American Dream", great vid :]

  • If you are into consumerism commentary and sarcasm, have a look at channel "StillUsing". We're looking for other users who, instead of buying the latest technology, are happy to keep using older ones, for the lousy reason that they still work.

They're hoping for some real finds: typewriter, tape recorder, etc.

  • @msungs The American Dream has nothing to do with buying stuff. Its about living in a free society where no matter how poor you are, you can always make a better life for your self.

Do you really believe everything you hear from George Carlin?

  • @aaa333ify "It's Called the American Dream Because You Have To Be Asleep to Believe It"-George Carlin....the American Dream is a joke. You end up buying things you don't need in order to impress people that if you knew you probably wouldn't like. America is a credit lifestyle which involves buying things you can't afford: education(student loans), houses (McMansions), and large SUV's that you can't pay for. The Federal Reserve as Federal as Federal Express is going to cause Hyperinflation.

  • The American Dream is about being able to live in a free society where you can make your dreams come true.

  • @CatholicRenegade there seems to be no real point to this video other than statistical garbage to see how things add up. There is a segment of society that thrives an identifying itself through statistical questions in order to feel a togetherness. These questions form elites and sub groups.

  • consumerism will bite you in the end. believe me

  • If I've watched a quarter of your video and still don't get the point, should I keep watching?

  • Video quality is lacking, too soft spoken. Hard to read. Not even sure I understood a single word anyone said. Was this video made by a 3 year old? Just curious.
