@marthalerfarm This guitar seems to be from HK Instruments, a very cheap product you can get from ebay. Here a "test": watch?v=W60oBOHefJo. Its not really common here in Germany, The most people playing acoustic guitar seriously don´t play often in such high fretposition, so they use one cutaway. Better for the tone anyways :)

@marthalerfarm Have you explored the hammered dulcimer? Versions of it exist in nearly every culture, UK to Asia to the Middle East to Siberia, and everywhere in between. To me it's one of the most fascinating instruments in existence.

I have never seen a double cutaway acoustic guitar before.Is this common in Europe,or is this considered some other type of instrument.I am from the U.S and play and collect guitars,this music and the traditional instruments are new to me.I love to learn of the history,and cultures of these beautiful songs and people.
