In 2:35 you can see a red impact mark in the map, I know the best known massive extintion was in the Cretaceous. But it was in the last stage of the period entering in the Paleocene ;)

Very enjoyable. I never realised about the huge inland seas in Eurasia and South America. Instead of "olocene", some people are calling 'now', the Anthropocene. And we are accelerating the ice melt by burning fossil fuels. From the Carniferous ;)

@randyrhoads4737 It does and doesn't. Warming, cooling, more oxygen, less oxygen, more ice, less ice. It's all in a constant state of change, and always will be. With or without humans.
