That may have been literally AU, but metaphorically, it's spot-on. No matter where on earth Jess may have found himself...his heart could never be moved, and he always came back to her, and he always would. Beautiful. You wove this together so perfectly (so that it was believable as AU, as well as metaphorically). Just wonderful.
