He wasn't saying Kevin James was as good as John Candy or anything, he just said his character and acting style was similar to Candy and reminded him of Candy. Not because he did it as WELL as Candy.

Fitz I may fuckin stab you for even mentioning John candys name. Im sick. I never wanted to weep either. I worked on this film for 2 months as a set dresser. I didnt think it would be great and I feel I was correct. i was kinda bored and didnt laugh much. hold on...... i just threw up in my mouth a lil bit thinkin about the John Candy remark again. Anyway, nice Hachico name drop too. ps- the sequel already got the green light. Hopefully they will bring more work here
