Speaking at a Manhattan fundraiser, President Barack Obama said he believes that gay couples deserve the same legal rights as every other couple in this country, but stopped short of embracing same-sex marriage himself. (June 23)

Obama is great, It would have been nice to see him endorse marriage though. At least, if I wanted, I could have a civil partnership, here in the UK, it's marriage all but in name, I assume there isn't a US equivalent?

My Grandmother was telling me how when she was little a white and black person couldn't get married.
So i will get to tell my grandchildren how when i was young gay couldnt' get married.
Then the next thing i could possibly see happening is humans and robots not being able to get married. I am not to sure about that one but then again i will be dead and that will probably be my grandchildrens fight. Of course I hope when we do have robots, people treat them with respect.
