Just a simple exercise of Blender's fluid simulation. I used IPO to control inflow, and used YafRay for rendering. I also used my own HDRI for illumination.
My computer needs needs about 30 mins for baking and 2 hours for rendering. I need to learn more how to optimize the process.

  • maybe spend 30 minute to bake and 2 hour to render but it truly worth it!!

    look extremly realistic! nice job!

  • better to reduce viscosity...(but you done good)

  • No he didn't animate the water, he IPO'ed the inflow (the amount of water going into scene)

  • WOW!!

  • So you actually animated this water? That's so cool!

  • nice man

  • This is really good. The speed and the materials are very realistic. You should select a higher resolution, like 200 or at least 150.

  • impressive.

  • I really Like the water material. The HDRI is also very good. 4/5

  • Nothing special? One of the most convincing blender water sims I've seen. Well done.
