Why Don't you Up The Screen Res? I believe there is a app that can change it to 1360x768 - even proper HD tv resolutions - it makes the status bar and text smaller, and nicer looking...

@CHRodz Yes, as long as the HDD can be recognized as Removable Storage, 1080p movies can be viewed through all inputs, either of the 3 x USB ports and SD card Input. As long as the Storage is recognized the device will automatically find the files :)
