@thedancingenius uh nooo, there's just some songs you just can't make over. some songs, like this one, need to be left to the original artist. i don't think anyone could remake this song to sound this good unless they sounded just like Benny Mardones....

Benny Mardones wrote this song about this sixteen year old girl who use to live in his building in Spanish Harlem. Her father walked out on the entire family, Benny felt sorry for her and paid her to walk his dog. One day, she came dressed up to go walk his dog and he said she was the most beautiful 16 year old he had ever seen. His friend said hey who's that. He told him, now she's just 16 years old, leave her alone, thus the song was born.
