  • @paulgriswold Great idea man!

  • For the guy who said he would rather by reman than rebuild kit. I guess you trust somone in a third world country to rebuild for you more than you trust your rebuidling skills!

  • I don't have air at home so I left the caliper on the car, remove the bolts and applied the brakes to push the piston out. It works well if you don't have air.

  • Great vid man! I like the narration even though ur not on a bench :P anybody think its possible to extract the piston by just pushing it from the banjo bolt hole?

  • Thank you for taking the time to upload this video.

  • KEEP FINGERS CLEAR lol, great vid.

  • @wafrederick The rear brake caliper on my VW jetta from a dealer costs $360, and a new boot costs $30. It took me one hour to replace the boot. I think it was worth it, for me. Of course if you can get devices for cost or rebuilt, the math may work out differently.

  • Nathan, I wish you would talk like your speaking with a friend. Don't think about this as being a youtube video, think about it as being a chat between friends. Friends don't talk like you do in these clips, and I'll bet you don't either. Remember that people who watch these have often watched hundreds of videos of you before. Cut out the repetitive phrases at the beginning and end.

The info is great, it's just the strange presentation that's off.

    Dave
