When John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Abraham Lincoln in Ford's Theatre on April 14, 1865, he was a part of a larger conspiracy that aimed to decapitate the Union government. James Solomon, screenwriter of the new film, The Conspirator, talks to Discovery News' Jorge Ribas.

@DiscoveryNetworks the main issues of the time dealt with slavery and the national bank. One conspiracy theory is that the assassins were hired by the Rothschilde family to kill lincoln who had issued the greenback currency which was technically debt free.

John Wilkes Booth was a well-known actor. His whole family was in the business. I find it really intriguing that he wasn't just a random, unknown guy.

If you have no idea what SabibabyS is talking about, then you have a very poor understanding of the relationship between the international banking elite, which in this context is the City of London, and the conspiracies which shape the world.
