Demi: *raises her hand* Can I go out? I forgot something.
Teacher: Hurry up. Well be starting our lesson.
Demi: *stands up and goes to the door*
Joe: *about to get in when. . .*
Demi: *pushes the door*
Joe: *hits his head on the door* Ouch! *slams on the floor*
Demi: OMG! Im so sorry *kneels down* I did not see you. *touches his face* Are you ok?
Joe: *sees Demi but feels dizzy* *thinks: Shes cute.* Am I in heaven? Cause Im seeing an angel now. *smiles and closes his eyes*
Teacher: What happened here?
Demi: *explains what happened*
Teacher: Ok. Bring him to the clinic now.
*Clinic*
Joe: *wakes up* Where am I?
Nurse: Youre in the clinic. *smiles* How are you feeling?
Joe: A little dizzy *touches his head* Wheres the angel, uhm. . . I mean the girl?
Nurse: The girl who brought you here?
Joe: *nods*
Nurse: Demi went back to class. She was called by the teacher.
Joe: *sits* *thinks: her name is familiar* Can I go now?
Nurse: Sure but you have to put this on your head. *gives ice pack*
Joe: *gets it* Thanks *goes out*
*Cafeteria*
Nick: *sees Joe* Dude, what happened? *places his food on the table*
Joe: *holding the ice pack on his head* I was knocked. Can I have this? *holds the sandwich that Demi made*
Nick: Sure. *sits* You were knocked? *surprised*
Joe: *takes a bite then explains what happened*
Nick: Wow! The captain of the basketball team was knocked on the first day of school. *laughs*
Joe: Haha. *rolls eyes* Not funny. *finishes the sandwich* This is the best sandwich I have ever tasted [a/n: Joe, thats because Demi made it.]
Nick: Whats the name of the girl again?
Joe: Demi.
Nick: Demi?
Joe: Yeah. Do you know her?
Nick: *did not hear because he saw Demi coming* Here! *waves at Demi* My sisters coming.
Joe: *looking down*
Demi: Hey Nicholas! Have you seen Selena? *didnt notice Joe*
Joe: *still looking down*
Nick: She went to the bathroom. Shell be here in a minute Demi.
Joe: *looks up when he heard the name Demi* Youre Nicks sister?
Demi: *sees Joe and thinks: hes mad at me* OMG! Its you. *walks beside Joe* Im sorry. It was an accident. I didnt see you. Im really sorry. *touches Joes forehead* Does it still hurt? *worried*
Joe: *smiles* Im ok. A little bit dizzy though.
Nick: *coughs* So, youve finally met.
Demi: *confused*
Nick: Demi, this is Joe my bestfriend. Joe, this is Demi my baby sister.
Demi: *looks at Nick* Im not your baby sister. Im your twin sister. *looks back at Joe*So, youre Joe? *remembers the incident happened at the court*
Joe: *thinks: OMG! She still remembers the incident* Yeah. Its nice to meet you. *nervous laugh*
Demi: *acting mad* Actually its not so nice.
Joe: *sad*
Demi: Im just kidding. *giggles* Its nice to meet you too. *sits on the chair*
Joe: *thinks: she has a cute giggle*
Nick: So, now you two are equal.
Joe and Demi: *confused* Huh?!
Nick: *smiles* Demi, you were knocked down by Joe and you Joe were knocked down by Demi. *laughs* You were both knocked down.
Demi: Its not funny.
Joe: *looks at Demi*
*Classroom*
[a/n: Joe and Demi have the same classes]
*awkward silence*
Joe and Demi: Im sorry.
Demi: *laughs*
Joe: *laughs* No. I should be the one to say sorry because I didnt have the chance to apologize the last time.
Demi: Its ok. *smiles*
Joe: *smiles*
Teacher: *walks in* Ok class. Since its the first day of class Im giving you homework to be passed on Thursday. Youll have to write a book and movie review. *smiles*
Class: Boo.
Teacher: Its just an assignment. Do you want me to give you a test today?
Class: NO!
Teacher: Ok. Be quiet. Ill pair you up and you will be the one to choose the movie and book youll be reviewing. Here are the pairs: *reads the list* Sam and Joyce, Mark and Katy, Leslie and Doug, [a/n: these are random names] . . . and the last pair Joseph and Demetria.
Joe: *confused* Whos Demetria? [a/n: He does not know the real name of Demi]
Demi: *heard him and laughs*
Joe: *looks at Demi* Why are you laughing?
Demi: Im Demetria. *giggles*
Joe: Oh. . . *embarrassed* Nick never mentioned your real name. *nervous laugh*
Demi: Now you know. *smiles*
Joe: Yeah. Now I know. *smiles* So, when would we start our homework?
Demi: We can start later. Do you have a practice?
Joe: Nope. Our practice starts next week. *smiles*
Demi: Great. We can do it in our house.
Joe: Its ok with me.
*bell rings*
