Montezuma's Treasure Cave is supposed to have been made by the men of King Montezuma of the Aztec empire around 1520. It was to keep the gold from Cortez and his men. there is a strange symbol carved in the rock below the cave. If you would like to know more of the history behind the treasure you can contact me.

so the "k" symbol is only a few years old.. it was carved by one of the locals that knows the area like the back of his hand...
There is a huge panel of aztec writings just outside the canyon too that is very interesting!! Nice vid.. Good Stuff!!

I would like to know more abot the history. what do you think they dug it with i cant imagine shovels that would take forever. Nice vid though
