Video coverage of one of the largest animal abuse cases in Hampshire County, WV. history. Over 70 horses were starved and neglected at a farm near High View. Two people have been arrested as authorities work hard to save the animals. The video was taken on Oct. 15, 2010. The neglected horses were reported by a concerned citizen less than two weeks prior. The horses look somewhat better in the video as compared to when authorities first went to the farm. They have been receiving feed.

How many ended up at the Winchester stock sale to be auctioned? Who gets to keep the money from the auction?
This isn't about horse neglect; this is about Hampshire county revenue. The county seizes the horses under the pretext that they are being abused, which is a broad category. Then they adopt a few away, and sell the rest at auction. The horses end up in a Mexican slaughter house, and and the county keeps the money. They put the horse owners in jail and make out like their the bad guys.
