NeoGraft is a new hair transplant device which allows for the efficient and gentle extraction and implantation of follicular-unit grafts without the use of a scalpel or stitches and leaving no 'tell-tale' linear scar in the donor area. The implantation handpiece, shown in this video, uses an air-pressure driven piston to gently pick up implant the grafts into the recipient sites. No forceps mean that there's no risk of crush-injury to the follicles. To learn more about FUE hair transplant using NeoGraft, visit http://www.baumanmedical.com

  • Once the tiny shaft is made, is it left alone, or does the doc insert a hair or what?

  • @LoLoEntertainment During a NeoGraft hair transplant, the follicles are harvested from the back of the scalp without a scalpel or stitches. The follicles are then implanted into recipient sites created by the surgeon. NeoGraft has a 'no-touch' implantation device that allows the follicles to be implanted gently. This video shows the implantation portion. The other video "NeoGraft Suction-Extraction" shows the harvesting of the follicles. Because the area is numb, there is no pain whatsoever.

  • DOES THE DOCTOR DIG A HOLE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL HAIR BEFORE PLACING THEM IN THERE ? MY UNCLE IS LOOKING TO THE, BUT HE THINKS ITS TOO PAINFUL.

  • @polos505 During the hair transplant procedure, the grafts are placed into the sites that have been created by the surgeon. It's not really a 'hole,' but more like a tiny slit that is created by a small instrument--usually less than 1mm in width. Transplants today are not uncomfortable for the patient because local anesthetic keeps the scalp completely numb. Watch the hair transplant videos of "Nalts" to see what its like for patients undergoing NeoGraft FUE transplants.

  • it looks so painful

  • @Thewaterofthepool Just ask Nalts... he seemed to be pretty comfortable during his procedures.

  • Actually, there is no discomfort because the skin is completely numb. Local anesthetic makes for comfortable hair transplant surgery.
