http://www.ElectronicDrumLessons.com -Steve plays to a Latin percussion loop on the v-drums. The set has the left foot pedal assigned to a snare sound, the center drum is assigned to a tabla sound. The rest of the set is like an acoustic set. For drum lessons designed specifically for electronic drums, visit electronicdrumlessons.com

  • Actually after watching just the left foot you are very sloppy with it. Still I liked all the rest though. Good Job! Use the left foot less or assign it different triggers in your head. I worked on using my left foot independently as the whole note count last night for about an hour. I played all the numbers with it and none of the ands. In a 1ena2ena count i would have played numbers and n's. it's was a great independence workout and alot of fun. Switching time hands every 4 or 8 too.

  • that is nice to start, i was just creating, yes pushing the limit slightly, my style tho... really glad about the monkey thing! :)

  • good foot control but the music sucks and did u play over something u pre-recorded?

  • the very steady percussion is a loop that comes with the v-drums. more than anything it represents perfect time to play along with, while playing a bass and snare rhythm with 2-hand percussion at the same time.

  • sorry but that absolutely terrible... Try playing along to some "real" latin music. Maybe also use your hands instead of the sticks.

  • you are right that this is not Latin music. I have changed the name.

  • hey thats pretty cool dude! u should make more. and yea you probly wanna get a microphone. but good stuff man!

  • snare on left foot @ "whole thing"

You lost beats at 2:25 to 2:27.

Not a bad feel at all. I would say don;t go crazy when you do a show, you know like live or on youtube. Do what you CAN DO as a performer, fuck up all over the place doing what you can't in practice time.

Still that was cool. I wanted to get naked and go try to chase monkeys in trees.

  • not bad, but sometimes you are not tight on the recording, esp. with your feet, and I don't dig your improvised fill-ideas... i'd prefer something less full and more musical...but really not bad, keep it on, cheers

  • How is that offensive Tribal beats are very cool

  • sounds liek dem african tribe beats...no offense

  • thats pretty easy

  • preety sick!!!
