@bornagainsaint1 You should look up the definition of idolatry. It's the worship of created things...not people. It's the worship of pictures, statues, animals and ideas. The respect we give to the woman who conceived Our Lord, and raised Him in the way God wanted Him to be raised does not take away from dignity and efficaciousness of Jesus. God chose her to bare, and raise his son. He loved Mary, and because she bore Jesus, she is sacred. Thus you are committing blasphemy. God Bless - Good Day.

@zeustruth The reason we use the cross is because it was the pagan symbol of life. However, many pagan things such as the prayer beads, crosses and our celebration of christmas were taken from many pagan religions to make transitioning from paganism to christianity easier. So, you see, regardless of where the symbols, and rituals come from...we converted pagans to christians...which was the goal of Jesus Christ. He has already won.

@zeustruth Im glad you think we're idiots. Im sure somehow you feel good about yourself inside. Fear not. You're correct. Prayer beads are using in many pagan rituals, and some not so pagan. Many religions use prayer beads, so I don't see your point. And there is historical evidence in conjunction with xenolinguistics to suggest Jesus was nailed to a stake, and not a cross.

@wifinow1 Here you are saying that you reference the bible, and nowhere does it directly say that Mary was a sinner. There are many misconceptions about certain bible verses, and whether or not certain things Mary did were sins. I assure you that you cannot back this accusation up with biblical facts. If you are quoting from any bible, then you're welcome. You have only Catholics and God to thank for your bible. Any bible with less than 73 books has been desecrated. You cannot edit the bible.

to LauraBradley123 - put down the rosary and go to Jesus. He is waiting for you come unto Him, Mary does not take your prayers to Jesus, the Holy Spirit does that. The bible says that we are not to get involved with those who have passed on Deut 18:9-14. The only reason you pray the rosary is bcuz the pope told you to. No where in the bible does it say that Mary or anyone else who passes on takes our prayers to Jesus. Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us in all prayer.
