PPV was bad but the intro was good

Too bad history is only written by the winners..... For those that have only heard but didn't really witness WCW in their glory days, WCW was beating the shit out of WWF/E. As someone posted before me, this was "Attitude" before WWF/E knew what it was. WCW suffered from letting Vince Russo have creative control but they didn't deserve the ultimate of being bought out by McMahon and subsequently have their entire roster turned into LOSERS havin made champions prove themselves all over again....

You know the real bad thing about this? The nWo were alright with Hogan, Hall, Nash, Savage and DiBiase, the WWF big names only. When they added people like Bagwell, Scott Steiner and Stevie Ray is when everything started to go downhill.
Man I miss WCW.

Holy shit, now that is an fucking intro to a PPV, I was a big fan of the nWo and even today this intro puts most of WWE's PPV production levels to shame.
This is how you get people hype for your event, WCW in 1997 is the best year of pro wrestling, great production levels, the nWo was white hot, great cruiseweights, the rise of Jericho, Goldberg debut, Hogan/Sting hype, and so much more, their wont ever be a year like this again, I fucking miss WCW, but was glad to see such an amazing year.

DX was lame compared to this. The concept of DX originated from Shawn Michaels experiences at the Blue Oyster Bar.

anyone else notice the irony of the garbage truck?
this was attitude before wwf even knew what that was!!!

People don't realize how much of a chance Bischoff was taking running a NWO promoted PPV. While the PPV sucked, I still love the concept of it. The part where Bischoff was addressing the masses like some kind of cult leader was awesome.
DX didn't run their own PPV, it was under the guise of a WWF In Your House show. Not even closely related.
