I agree. There is a problem with making a city based on money... it is a small compromise to show the world what we are all capable of...but it is better to say we have tried.. than to simply dream.

I rather think this will come about through the upcoming monetary collapse.

I don't think we should all place our bet on a monetary collapse within near future. Though it's theoretically somewhat inevitable, what if they just make another system somewhat like it using the media to spread the notion that money is necessary? In case of a monetary collapse, we need to act fast! Tell people that The Venus Project could provide for all human needs and raise our quality, not standard, of living. People need to volunteer to make this happen.

@8888themaster8888 moral and ethics are irrelevant. The environment programs the brain not the other way around. If you have a brain that sticks out because it's behaviour is aberrant when judged from the majority of other programmed brains in an environment then therapeutic measures can be applied ranging from non-invasive techniques to surgery depending on the severity of the symptoms. Of course, you can always volunteer to terminate yourself if you refuse treatment.

because , every civilization that workes has to be built on some ethic , rome was built on conquest , look what you need is morals and ethics , not eviroment , this will go bad , its too synthetic and limited .
