@CosmicG777 trust me, ending in manga even dumber than in anime, if authors by some miracle decide to finish the story, they really shouldn't follow manga's plot

This was the first anime I watched which brought me to tears. I cried for a whole week after watching this (all though, I did keep watching the entire anime over and over again during that week) but still I cried so hard from this anime.

Love this anime it also brought me to tears as others have stated and I believe this series to be in a sense of a metaphor of tragedy, depression, sacrifice, love and as someone else said braking point as we each face these feelings I believe this show displays the worst case scenarios of these feelings and creates a solution by building characters and showing how they solved them.

AH! This would have been so perfect to read with the ending(manga). I am someone who is normally devoid of emotions, but I felt all choked up and was tearing up as I read. I love Elfen Lied for that, it really bothers me when people say Elfen Lied is only a bloody/gory anime, it is not! People aren't really understanding when they say that, but this is just my own honest opinion.
