HAMILTON, Ohio (Larry Davis) -- While the snow has let up and is now reduced to flurries, the wind is getting stronger and making the temperature feel much colder. Roads in downtown Hamilton and surrounding Butler County are in good shape for the most part. There is some concern later on that things could start to ice over.Salt trucks have been on the move all day long across the tri-state. Crews have been out since 3a.m. Thursday morning salting and scrapping the roads. They are trying to get ahead of all the snow and ice.Despite their best efforts though, some drivers lost the battle with the snow causing some accidents.Butler County Engineer, Greg Wilkens, said, The big concern we got for the rest of today is the temperature starts dropping we're worried about that pavement freezing. And then black ice, as we all know, nobody wants to deal with that. That's our big concern is the temperature drop so we're hoping that mother nature will work with us. The wind's supposed to kick up.
