I believe it is Julie Megenes? who did the over dubbing here who sang in the Original fiddller and later in "RAGS"..if you wish to find the album of that?.If you ever tune into a hist, ch Doc about the depression... there is a clip of the original footage and sdtrck with Fannie It can be found as well. It was a very popular tune many greats did it. It's funny cause Billy Rose looks a lot like Woody! 1 of the great places to see the real Fanny is in the Great Zgfeld mvie.
Originally I thought Marilyn Michaels only dubbed the Yiddish-accented "Mr. Zelig stand by," but apparently she did the whole song. The only giveaways are the modern-sounding orchestra before she starts singing, and the opening verse, where she sings with a kind of half-Yiddish accent to set the tone (with the real Fanny Brice it was usually all or none). But I agree... an uncanny imitation.
Supposedly this sequence was dubbed by Marilyn Michaels over the original Fanny Brice voice track. (Great imitation!) I'd be curious to hear the original Fanny Brice version of this appealing (and sadly forgotten) Fats Waller tune.
the original...from 1929
can also be found on you tube under" I've got a feeling I'm falling ,Fanny Brice"

@cemmi2
Thanks for this information. Do you have any further information about the History Channel documentary in which Fanny Brice sings this song?

If that is true, then Marilyn Michaels did an unreal job. Seriously -- that sounds identical to Fanny Brice's own voice.
