I agree, there are many types of femininity in my opinion. Just look at myths from around the world where there are destructive female goddesses and entities but also nurturing ones, who's to say that one is more "correct" than the other? Just because something is the norm, doesn't mean it's the only option.

Funny how heroins often have to be these primadonna stereotypes. It's like, they think that they can't be heroins unless they are striped of their feminity. It's very sad really.

Interesting. Well, first of all, the character of Domino is not based on a stereotype because it is actually based on a real person. Secondly, for years the only women in these types of films were "hot" bimbos who were having sex with the male hero of the movie. I personally envy Domino. I think she's very feminine in a punk rock kind of way. I don't think the character has been stripped of her femininity at all, I just think she does not embody the stereotypical kind of femininity.
