Much appreciated IT Hub is loosing its colours. Heaven of imaginations have turned out to be hell with the garbage in the Bangalore city surroundings. Garden city of India's discipline is washing out and living in Bangalore gets tougher day by day. Authorities have worked on Infrastructure, but failed to communicate with the people, and teach lessons of social responsibilities and public properties.
In the city garbage is collected everyday but in certain areas waste collected only once a week. The garbage is even affecting some businesses. Customers are unwilling to shop due to the bad smell of the garbage.
There is no proper garbage disposal system available in some civic wards, forcing the residents to use the roadside to throw waste and which creates the area a breading ground for mosquitoes.
Team ICARELive visited such areas and presented the video for our viewers. There are few complaints lodged by the local residents of these areas requesting for a clean-up operations, but the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is taking more than required time to resolve the issue. The local councilors also favouring BBMP saying "we are not ignoring the complaints of the public."
thanks for this. This really is life in Bangalore. It has the potential to be such a beautify city, its a shame
