@MadOldPete Roflmao, hello 9 month old comment. As I stated, he's not a bad actor, far from it. Also, despite what Bond is "Supposed" to be - The movies have always been in a certain way, always. That's what made it famous, that's why we're still seeing Bond today. Do you honestly believe that the "Roger Moore-style crap" hasn't been beneficial to Bond? Really?

@aztaclalz the films suck ass? quantum of solace was iffy, but casino royale was an awesome film, and widely regarded as such. I'm afraid you've become accustomed to Roger Moore-style crap. just because there's more of it, doesn't mean it represents what Bond is about.

Lol - Pierce Brosnan must be over 60 by now.
Maybe they could start a spinoff series "Bond: The Golden Years" where a retired James Bond spends his time gardening and playing golf, in between visits to the doctor to treat his piles. Brosnan would be perfect for that.

Daniel Craig is the closest actor to the original James Bond from the books.Because in the books,Bond is a depressed alcoholic who hates his job.He even gets is balls electricuted in the Casino Royale book.And the gadgets?Too old!Disappearind car?Come on! That's just dumb.Try to imagine Brosnan in his role in Casino Royale,he could never have done a better job than Craig.And the idea for the new Bond movies,is not to make the best Bond movie but to make the best action movie they can (period).

your right Daniel Craig ,in my opinion, is the best james bond to date.Though he is blond but still he feels like the james bond all the other actors should have been like, he seems a real brutal killer.All the other bonds just flirted too much and they just seemed soft.
