Well the new effect is that I've made the Master Blink and change the lighting a bit, been meaning to do the 'blinking' for a good while now.

  • This is just awesome! I have always enjoyed your videos and they seem to have a very high quality appearance to it. Looking forward to seeing some more new videos from you.

  • Ahh well i do try to get good quality, the uncompressed version of this vid is 2GB i think

  • I dunno about that blinking. I think the idea was that this incarnation was so heavily emaciated he could no longer blink. No more eyelids. The size of his eyes kinda shows that.

  • Most "New FX" vids aren't subtle. This one was. Thanks!

  • Nice work, very subtle.

  • Sacrilege! Just joking. Very interesting though. Any way you can make the Nimon's heads look a bit more realistic? Moving eye's and a moving mouth perhaps? Despite being an underrated story(Horns Of Nimon) of which I like(like most of Tom's era) I always found those Nimon heads annoying. None of the facial features moved! Lack of budget was no excuse for that.

  • The eyelids make it way creepier... O.O

  • really creepy, brilliant

  • Looks less like a mask now. Well done.

  • Wow, subtle and adds an extra layer of life and creepiness to this version of the Master

  • The cloaked villains and the scrolling intro are pretty good considering the budget...and this predates Star Wars by a year too.

  • Is there a way for you to make him start to lift his eyes just before he lifts his head? That'd make him appear even more life-like, I think...

  • It's a very good effect, and I agree with those who think it adds to the creepiness of this incarnation of the Master--which, honestly, has always been my favorite. But if I were to quibble... I'd probably lost the last blink, which I think spoils the final shot of the scene.

Still. VERY good job in crafting this.

  • Well done, thats brilliant!! The Master's eyes were the one aspect of this story which really bugged me.
