  • they cute but small 3 room would be better.

  • @beyondthefuture2008 I was not referring to luxury obviously many of other ignorant comments clearly didn't get nor understood this point. Do the units even have a working toilet or is there even a community composting toilet? I still feel money has been wasted even if these units are a blessing to these families who have already loss so much. They will still be facing the same problems before the earthquake even happened.

  • @THEHAITIAN1804 It's about building homes someone would be able to live in with dignity! A working toilet for one! Obviously it's HAITI not America or anywhere. Besides America has many mansions that have been foreclosed on.

  • @mearder Obviously not! Too many landlords build houses without even a working toilet.

  • @mearder take your own advise. Too much money has been wasted on projects already in Haiti.

  • @YesHaiti maybe it is not being built for a family of 8. A blessing, small or big is still a blessing. I get what you are saying but, if I really think the people who lost all they had are most likely not thinking like that. Haitians are survivors, they know how to live off necessity and not worry so much about luxury.

  • @sweet1914 Habitat For Humanity, SODADE, Architecture for Humanity, volunteers from the university of Minnesota worked on the Santo Community Development. this community was built to get 110 people off the streets. So although I guess it'd be nice if they built big houses, I really think this is much better than tents. I think the people who went through the quake, living in those tents rain or shine would also agree. Haitians who truly know what it's like to struggle are very grateful people.
