You just picked you're own team. This was so lame. Not even that big of an upset.

Until UNC Ashville does the impossible this year anyway.

URI over #1 Kansas 1998 NCAA tourney

Chaminade beating Virginia is hands down the best upset. Hands DOWN. Chaminade is NAIA and Virginia was #1 in the NCAA!
-
bucknell over kansas...best upset ever!!
-
Princeton over UCLA wasn't number 1. UCLA is just overrated.
-
Hampton VS #2 seed Iowa state was my favorite upset....my school won ;) lol

Chaminade had beaten the University of Hawaii by 17 points and were playing at home, so it's not quite as crazy as it might seem.
Not sure what the spread would've been but I would imagine it would've been under 20 points.

The other often-quoted upsets are North Carolina St. over Houston in 1983 and Texas Western over Kentucky in 1966. North Carolina St. was a 7.5-point underdog and Texas Western was a 6-point underdog.
Georgetown-Villanova, North Carolina St.-Houston, and Texas Western-Kentucky have greater historical significance and thus are remembered as being "greater" upsets. However, Connecticut-Duke was the most unlikely one of them all.
chaminade over virginia was the best, period.
an NAIA team over the NCAA #1 is just crazy
