This concentrator was undertaken in completion of the Elec 499 course at the University of Victoria. it features a parabolic reflector designed to concentrate the light on the solar cells. Filtering of the light using developed camera film was done to try and reduce the operating temperature of the cells. A higher operating temperature can cause drops in power production.
what the circuit for the tracker can you post it

Great job!
Do you think it would be more efficient to put the earth axis tracking component on top of the earth tilt axis?

Very good and fast too!

Hmm...Not pretty good, DAMNED GOOD! In regard to the filters on the cells. Would efficiency be improved by mounting the solar cells on a heat sink and use light oil to carry the heat away to a radiator?
