Camp Barnabas provides life-changing opportunities for people with special needs and chronic diseases - and those who serve them - in a Christian camp setting. We believe everyone has been uniquely created by God to live a life of ability. We make every activity of summer camp possible for our campers.
That means our summer staff - our Chaconians - do everything from encourage a child with autism to glide across the creek in a canoe to help a young adult in a wheelchair up a rock wall and down a zip line. They have to be prepared to do anything for anyone in any situation. So their Chacos are essential to being at the ready for our very special life.
