yeah, it actually runs a linux distro made by lenovo.
it has an arm processor, so it can run any distribution which supports arm processors, like Debian and Gentoo and probably Ubuntu (it has recently been ported for the arm architecture), as well as some unofficial arm ports like ARMedslack
