Do I have to have a modeler for guitar to achieve different effects like overdrive or delay or chorus? Or can I simply hook up the out from my "stage" effects chain (pedal board) to the instrument input?? Thank you! These things look awesome!

@kmacc420 Hi, yes you can use your "stage" effects chain but it won't sound the same as a guitar through an amp. That's really where the modeler does wonders. It adjusts the electricity coming out of your pedals to sound like what an amp does to those signals ... and not just one amp, many of them let you choose from multiple amp options. I've had success with all kinds of modelers AND using tube amps with headphone jacks like the Blackstar HT-1 which is my current favorite.

@kmacc420 Hi, yes you can use your "stage" effects chain but it won't sound the same as a guitar through an amp. That's really where the modeler does wonders. It adjusts the electricity coming out of your pedals to sound like what an amp does to those signals ... and not just one amp, many of them let you choose from multiple amp options.
