Be a little nicer to the kid dude. We need young railfans to carry on the hobby and intrest in steam locomotives. He didn't realize he was in your way. If you want a private shot... you'll have to hang out in a rural area.

Funny thing is I was there to see the same thing he was seeing. If his parents were any kind of decent people they would have told him right off the bat not to get in anyones way out of common courtesy. Hes a KID, Kids get yelled at! That is the first time I have ever seen a steam engine either, so i am sure we were both as excited, but I didnt get in anyones way....you must be a liberal 158.

so everything was made out of legos?

@Automcanic I'm not even sure that really constitutes getting yelled at. They got his attention in a loud environment.

@pudd750 common courtesy would dicate that you don't get in someone else's shot; just like people shouldnt talk when other people are recording.

Please remember that certain people do not and should not speak for our organization. The way in which you handled the young man was okay in my book.

@Kleman09 Telling folks that they are 'idiots' isn't the best idea if you want to send a good message about your operation.

The people in the shots came make the video more interesting. If someone gets in my way I just move. Either while shooting or stop the camera and move. Editing can make it look like it never happened. We are all there for the same thing and can't always keep track of other peoples cameras.

I am one of the guys that put this kind of show on for idiots like you. I work on the 765!! Perhaps we should just end our programs and let you chase dead diesles! Remember the kid had as much right as you to sit there and film the train. And again im sure that u were in someone else's shot. Also if u wanted a place to urself, u should have filmed on ur own pribvate property.
The track was at a curve so im sure u were in someone else's shot. think before u yell at an innocent kid to get out of the way.

the funny thing was I was standing there for about an 45 min. With about a half hour into it was when most people started filtering down to this part of town. I wanted a good shot and there was one guy in the area I was at who was behind me. I asked him first before I setup my tripod. Also, as you can see at the first part of the video is clear people keep jumping out as the train moves closer. Doesnt matter who it is I would yell at anyone who is this rude. We are all there for the same thing.

The kid has just as much right to be in the shot as u do. ur an adult onlyu looking to get a professional shot. im tired of people tellin other people to get out of their way so they can get the perfect shot! They have just as much right as u do to get the perfect shot. he wasnt in the way anyways. he as so small and the train so far away, its palinly stupid uy tell him to get out of the way. u ruined ur own video!

He ruined it.... you think he would have moved if I hadn't said anything? probably not. It ignoramus' like yourself that "ruin" peoples videos. Your probably one of those idiots who drive in the left lane until the last possible minute. Then expect everyone to move so you can get to the exit, and if they dont move you squeeze your way in!
