Pres/vice-pres are leadership positions. It's all about leadership. But voters know too little about govt to care. Instead, the public thinks it's all about:

- Charisma (history's best example: Reagan)

- Prepared speeches (without a prompter, Obama sounds like Bush)

- Whatever the media tell them to believe

@TheUltimateJew Foreign policy has always mattered when judging candidates. It is YOU who want's to make Palin and exception to that, not the left. It's not just the left, but everyone who isn't a right wing zealot feels that Palin fails the FP test. That reason is due to the responses she gave to questions on FP which were far inferior to Obama's. As always, everybody is to blame for Palin's shortcomings except Palin.
