Overclocking 102:Guide for socket 775 - core 2 duo and core 2 quad was recorded for educational purposes. I used video camcoder to record the bios and Moroz Video Capture to record my screen in Windows OS. I used Moroz Video Converter to convert this video for youtube and split it in 10 minutes, and I put the watermark using Moroz Video Converter.
Decided to share 10 years of my overclocking experience. I know socket 775 or socket T is almost dead by the video upload, but many people have it and probably will buy it, because of its power and low price at newegg right now. So, simply with the Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 and after its overclocked to 4Ghz and FSB 2000 MHZ(500Mhz) - you can be faster then i3 or equal to i5 at stocks - which is a good deal.
I suggestion you to have x48 or p45 for a best socket 775 overclocking experience. Asus, Gigabyte or Foxconn Premium boards and MSI premium boards are good. Please rate this video, watch all the 8 parts.
This video also will be available at youtube.com/morozacademy with more cool stuff at that alternative channel.
Peace, happy overclocking and remember dont get your voltage higher then 1.6V and temp higher then 95C degree. Always, test your computer for stability, like I will show you on video 8 of 8. Good luck!

  • And i have a foxconn motherboard and when i go to "fox central control unit" there is a cpu frequency setting and i set it to 232 instead of 200 and when i turned on my computer it didnt over clock....wondering why

  • @YogscastWannaBe Use bios for rock solid overclock. SOftware till I7 1055 socket motherboard is sucks. Because it will not record to the bios. X58 some board wil lbut still works buggy.

  • @YogscastWannaBe use bios for the best and right overclock. Also Windows will ot show in real time that your clock is changed. It get info when computer loaded OS and using that info. Use cpu-z to see if cpu changed the frequencies. But as again, use bios for the right effective overclocking. Thank you for watching.

  • Is the core2 duo the same as intel celeron dual core...?

  • @YogscastWannaBe Core 2 duo is better than Intel Dual Pentium. Dual Pentium is better than Celeron.

Dual Pentium is almost as good to overclock as core 2 duo. But ath the same frequency Core 2 Duo will be 10% faster. So if you want to make dula pentium 2.8 = Core 2 duo 2.8 You want to overclock dual pentium to 3.1Ghz

  • @YogscastWannaBe core 2 duo is 1.5 faster than celeron dual core clock to clock. Thanks for watching.

  • @morozacademy yeah i was in bios but it didnt work /....

  • @morozacademy ohh i see....i thought celeron dual core was better O.o nvm then. I was wondering why my brothers old pc had a dual core celeron at 2.66ghz and it ran way more smooth than mine ever did. But im probably getting a core 2 quad q6600 soon so ill have a perfect gaming rig (kinda). at least for the games that i play..

  • @PhotonicDoctor You are welcome. I7 guide is coming.

  • thanks for the video
