The Quest For Tone - Fender Roc Pro 1000 Combo

Here is the latest quest for tone review on the fender roc pro 1000. Its a 100 watt pre amp tube combo with a great tone! Yngwie himself has used and owned one of these for many years and they sound brilliant. Here im using my stock Chapman ML1 and no effects apart from in one section where i use a Wah pedal which you will see.

What's the pickups are in your YM Strat?

Hello mate

The pickups are stock in this one and its a 2006 model so there is a DiMarzio HS-3 in the bridge and a DiMarzio YJM in the middle and neck positions. I got it off ebay UK second hand for £650.

Hope this has enough win sauce.

Yeah im doing alot of stuff on ML1 very soon. Changing all of the chrome hardware to black, sanding down the body to natural mahogony and getting a DiMarzio D activator for the bridge and another DiMarzio hotrail for the neck but not sure which yet, props a Tone Zone. Its gonna be sweet. Il document the transformation as i go so stay tuned for more vids.
