Did You Ever

I had fun with this one! It's a lot more upbeat and it uses a lot more effects. This is a working title, so if you have any suggestions please comment!

Verse 1
I'm moving too fast. Caught up in a whirlwind of future present and past. Moving so fast that my ears are hurting. Time is ticking away. Yet it passes slowly. Should I try to change? (Keep up) Or be me?

Chorus
Did you ever take another step when there was no step at all? Reach out in the darkness to find nothing there? Then stumble blindly into the light and almost fall? Is anyone out there just as scared? You know how I feel.

Verse 2
I rush to get done with the task time lays before me. But I haven't won yet. I'm only at the beginning. Seems like I'm alone. Others are much faster. They're farther down the road. Covering things I haven't mastered.
