Häussel Pickup Test

Sound test of my new Harry Häussel custom eight string guitar pickups in my Blackmachine 8 running through my VH4S Dieze blueface head.
I'm running the VH4S through a 4x12 Diezel Frontloaded Cab with Celestion G12K100s on the left channel, and a Crate bass 4x10 cab on the right channel. But the signal was only recorded from the left channel using a Samson C03U USB condenser mic straight into GarageBand.
The video was edited together (very unprofessionally) using iMovie HD.

Do Haussel pickups make 6 string versions of those pickups? If they're that harmonically balanced in a 6 string version, I'd be almost willing to replace the pickups in my Razorback (even the Dimebucker in the bridge)

Yup, Harry'll make you pretty much any kind of pickup you want ;) There are some 'stock' pickups he does, but he'll also do full custom. If you do get them, just ask for a six string version of the 8 string custom pickups he made for Doug's guitars.

Its the dub-yahs with a dot haeusel and then another dot and a com.
