Def Leppard was fantastic from High N' Dry to Hysteria. Great guitar work and overall musicianship. The only thing holding them back from being one of the all time greats is the fact that an awful lot of their songs (but not all) have really dumb lyrics and their harder rock was softened a lot for Hysteria. That's still a great album, one of the best, but the band took too long afterward, couldn't top it, and the music scene changed for the worse by the time they came back with no mega hits.
