So many performers I remember when they were alive and now most of them are gone, God bless them. I remember I use to take wife to see them on stage. Wonderful memories on this film.

This is Heaven!! It dosen't get any better than this.The great Jean Shepard deserves to be in the country music hall of fame.Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs this is perfect.

i hope i can figure out how to play all these opry video, i used to go a lot in the 50s and 60s.. what a show. thanks for putting these on u tube.

I went to the Opry in 1948. The ole Ryman was hot and uncomfortable, but the entertainment back then made you forget the heat.
The Carter Family, Hank Williams, Red Fowley and Roy Acuff were there. I loved it.
