LittleBigRoblox Test Level

Video of my Roblox recreation of LittleBigPlanet. The level is playable (and looks way better than this video shows; blame HyperCam for the crappy quality), and it works in a way resembling of LBP. It is not completely done yet, I just wanted to show it off so far.

Disclaimers and Copywrongs:
LittleBigRoblox is a fan work, not made to infringe, but to basically be an Affectionate Parody of Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet. I did not create LittleBigPlanet, nor did I create Roblox Studio. The level itself, however, is completely my work except for some Decals and Textures. The music and sound effects are not in-game, but were edited in after recording. (Roblox does not allow users to upload sounds or music anyway.) Music copyright of The Noveltones (song title: Left Bank Two), and sound effects as well as game idea copyright of Media Molecule. The level itself is not a copy of any LittleBigPlanet level, it just shows off some of the gameplay concepts such as hazards and switches.

To Roblox players: I did not use any Public Domain Scripts or Tools (aside from the Gear shown, but it was recorded in Online Mode), nor did I use Free Models. Most of the Decals, except for the Cardboard Texture and my "Rule of LittleBigPlanet" Vidwindow, are from Free Decals. However, all Meshes came from Free Models since I don't have mesh creation software, and Roblox disabled Mesh Uploading as well.

Announcement: Because so many players have been begging me to do so, some by sending weird messages (I'm talking about you, shulme), the place has been Uncopylocked. So you can see how everything in it works! Including the objects I've added since I made this video. But if I find any blatant copyers on Roblox that just copy the place as-is withut modifying it or using the stuff to make their own level, I WILL re-Copylock it.

Also, the Second Revision place I was talking about has been put on hold because I'm trying to bring back Roblox Lyoko. Current tasks include: repairing the Scanner code so the particle beam works, finding a way to stop players from falling right into the Digital Sea after virtualization, and finding a workaround for the not-functional-in-Online-Mode RocketPropulsion. Not sure if it doesn't work at all in Online, or it if just doesn't like being in a Character. If it's the former, maybe BodyPosition+BodyGyro could be a workaround...

Yup :D I actually found that in the TV Tropes Forums. The pink text is because, in the official LBP levels, important stuff is highlighted in pink inside the Magic Mouth bubbles. I dunno why they apparently didn't put that feature in the player-accessible Create Mode...

Istead of Hypercam, you could use GameCam or Camstudio. Just with Camstudio, the bigger your ROBLOX place window is, the more it'll lag. You can try Fraps, i cant get it to work myself.

Sadly, I'm not allowed to buy recording software. Fraps Trial Version is limited to 30 seconds per recording, while HyperCam Free Version can do unlimited. And I don't care about a stupid watermark. That corner of the screen is covered by the Roblox game window stuff anyway.

And the biggest window I can record without lag is 640x480, which is YouTube Standard Resolution. The weird colors just seems to be how the video compressor does it. Maybe it's lossy compression... or needs moar key frames.
